Aims
To provide training and assessment (Certification) to IRATA Level I standard, allowing personnel to work as part of a rope access team under supervision of a qualified IRATA Level III Supervisor.
Who should attend?
Tradesmen and Technicians, Inspectors, Engineers involved in a wide variety of disciplines and industries are involved in rope access work. Candidates require a level of physical fitness and should be comfortable working at height.
Course Content
This 5-day course combines both practical and classroom learning. The majority of the course focuses on practical training, learning the use of rope systems and techniques. There is also a theory element delivering the necessary knowledge of legislation, standards and equipment. There is an independent assessment of candidates to IRATA standards on the final day of the course.
On Successful completion of the course, candidates will receive an IRATA Log book, Certificate and ID card.
