Lifting & Pre-load Out Inspection
Rig Inspection Services offers a quality assured Lifting and Lifted equipment inspection division. Since inception, RIS has been a NATA approved testing laboratory.
Our NATA accreditations include:
- AS/NZS ISO/IEC 17020
- Type A Inspection Body
- AS/NZS ISO/IEC 17025
- Non Destructive Testing
Our lifting inspection service includes:
- Certified Visual Inspection of slings and rigging
- Certified Visual Inspection of baskets, containers and skids etc.
- Certified Visual Inspections on new builds / modified units
- Non Destructive Testing:
- Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
- LIquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI)
- Eddy Current Testing (ET)
- Offshore Inspection Service. Technicians are made available to travel to offshore facilities to perform inspection and testing services.
- Pre-Load Out Q.A. Inspections. Final inspection prior to loading out to ensure that equipment is fully compliant with the requirements of all Australian, International and Client Standards
- Management of the repair and recertification process. This includes organising any third party contractors to perform works onsite
- Database to track inspected equipment
