At RIS' Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) Division, we offer specialised industry knowledge and experience to clients with the aim of providing a prompt and efficient service tailored specifically to our client's needs. Whilst being a relatively new company, we are committed to the oil and gas industry by investing in the latest technology in equipment and training of our personnel. OCTG Inspectors are qualified to ASNT Level II in:
- MPI (Magnetic Particle Inspection)
- DPI (Dye Penetrant Inspection)
- UT (Ultrasonic’s , compression and shear wave)
- EC (Eddy Current)
- CSWIP (BHA / Rotary)
- VARCO BJ Certified (Castings)
At RIS we recognise the importance of providing prompt and efficient service in the offshore/onshore drilling industry. We are fully aware of the implications of the
delays that may occur with certification, which is why RIS has invested time and resources into the latest computer generated reporting system. This has the ability of giving history for every tool in which RIS has inspected within 48 hours of inspection.
On site generated reports can also be done if required.

Our resources and training programs ensure we have a range of inspectors who are on call 24/7 and can be mobilized within short notice to any drilling operation whether it is land- based or on an offshore installation. This enables us to meet client demand.
