CLS Offshore Launches Training Facility

To complement their existing service lines, CLS Offshore has launched a suite of training courses applicable to those working within the Oil, Gas and Renewable sectors, or to those who engage in any work at height.



FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE To complement their existing service lines, CLS Offshore has launched a suite of training courses applicable to those working within the Oil, Gas and Renewable sectors, or to those who engage in any work at height. CLS are able to offer IRATA Rope Access Training, including: - IRATA Level 1 - IRATA Level 2 - IRATA Level 3 Next course available for Level 1s and Level 2s is taking place 10th November to 14th November. Work at Height courses are also available: - Work at Height Awareness (1 Day) - Work at Height Rescue (1 Day) - Work at Height and Rescue Advanced (2 Day) - Work at Height and Rescue Refresher (1 Day) - Management of Work at Height (Half Day) In addition to the above S-Cape training is also on offer, which provides candidates with emergency evacuation training based on the abseiling principal. S-Cape is the technique for evacuation of an offshore installation by an individual as a last resort, when all conventional methods of escape are no longer accessible. CLS will also be presenting DROPS training. This will provide individuals with comprehensive understating of dropped objects in the offshore and onshore workplace, the potential hazards and best practices that are applied to control and prevent dropped objects. Courses take place at the CLS training facilities in Great Yarmouth. The 12m high steel structure has been purpose built specifically for Work at Height and Industrial Rope Access training. This offers invaluable height exposure for candidates undergoing training at the top of the structure whilst allowing for close supervision. Theory work and written assessments are undertaken in a dedicated classroom on the same site. CLS Trainers are all highly experienced and suitably qualified, therefore guaranteeing a professional standard of training at all levels and throughout the duration of the courses.
