GWO First Aid Refresher is a 1 day course delivered at our training centre in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

The aim of this course is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills so that delegates are able to administer safe and effective First Aid in a wind turbine environment. Furthermore, this training will enable the delegate to perform CPR and use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

The cost of the course is £180.00 + VAT

Prerequisites

GWO First Aid Refresher can be physically demanding and to participate in the training, you must be medically fit and capable of participating fully.

You will be required to provide the following:

• A valid in-date medical certificate
• A completed Medical Declaration Form (a copy will be provided after placing your booking)
• Your GWO WINDA ID
• Your in-date GWO First Aid certificate

You must send all your prerequisites to us before the start of the course to ensure you can participate.

Other requirements:

• The course is run in English and as such you must have an appropriate level of fluency in order to participate
• You must be 18+
• A valid photographic ID such as a Passport or Driving Licence

Equipment

• Appropriate clothing to climb in (we advise loose clothing which does not hinder your movement)
• Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions (part of the course takes place outside)
• Safety footwear
