IRATA ROPE ACCESS TRAINING LEVEL 1, 2 OR 3
The IRATA Level 1 is the entry level into the rope access industry.
An IRATA Level 1 technician will be able to perform a range of rope access manoeuvres and have an understanding of the current legislation. An IRATA Level 1 is required to be supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician. Level 1 rope access technician is: Able to perform a range of rope access manoeuvres Responsible for inspections of all his/her own personal rope access equipment. Able to assist in rigging and non-standard operations, under supervision of a level 3 Able to undertake a rescue involving descent by him/herself and have knowledge of hauling systems

This IRATA rope access course is for candidates who already have an IRATA Level 1 qualification, plus 1,000 hours of work on ropes, one year of experience from your previous Level 1 assessment and a Level 1 certificate that is still in date.
An IRATA Level 2 rope access technician : is capable of rigging working ropes can undertake rescues and performing rope access manoeuvres under the supervision of an IRATA Level 3 rope access technician should have some knowledge of legislation, safety requirements and quality assurance procedures relating to rope access.

This IRATA training course is for candidates who already have an IRATA Level 2 qualification, plus 1,000 hours of work on ropes, one year of experience from your previous Level 2 assessment and a Level 2 certificate that is still in date.
An IRATA Level 3 rope access technician : is capable of site supervision for rope access work projects is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation is able to demonstrate all the skill and knowledge of Levels 1 and 2 has a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques has knowledge of the IRATA certification scheme has knowledge of the IRATA Training and Assessment Certification Scheme (TACS) and is familiar with the contents of the IRATA ICOP
