Setting the Standard
With over 25 years practical window cleaning experience, Ionic Systems Ltd (Then Over The Top LTD) launched the revolutionary Reach & Wash® system at the 1997 NEC Cleaning Show in Birmingham, England.
Since then, The Reach & Wash® system has been become a trusted global brand, and the industry standard for window cleaners all over the world. It’s no exagerration to say that Reach & Wash® has revolutionised the industry, by enabling window cleaners to reach higher, work faster and stay safer. But that’s not all…
The Reach & Wash® systems are being used in new and ever expanding markets, and are proving just as efficient. Reach & Wash® systems are fast becoming the method of choice for cleaning solar panels of all shapes and sizes. Becuase Reach & Wash® systems use no harsh chemicals, only pure water is used for cleaning, they are the ideal solution to keep solar arrays clean and operating at peak efficiency, in the safest most enviromentally friendly way.
Our systems conform to recognised industry standards such the European CE Mark. We’ve also invested heavily in making sure our systems are the safest available, and are the ONLY manufacturer to be awarded FMVSS-208 crash test certification for our vehicle mounted systems.

Abseiling Using the Quattro
Ionic Systems Quattro, Rope Access, Abseiling Work. The reach of water fed pole work and Abseiling will increase your efficiency.
Everyone has the right to work safely, and that includes window cleaners. For decades, work at height was simply accepted as an occupational hazard of the window cleaning industry.
Reach & Wash® systems allow windows to be cleaned from the safety of the ground using long reaching, telescopic poles.
A soft bristled brush is used to scrub the dirt off the glass, while jets of pure water rinse the window. The pure water, as it has no impurities, dries to a spot-free finish leaving no marks behind. Using The Reach & Wash® system, modern window cleaning is no longer the dangerous job it once was.
Extending your Capabilities
Safety is the most important benefit of the Reach & Wash® system, but it is not the only one. Window cleaners find that they are typically able to work at least twice as fast using poles, but that’s not all…
Reach & Wash® can clean to a height of 80ft, well beyond the reach of ladders, and is much safer, more efficient and cost-effective than other methods of working at height. For these reasons, it’s no surprise that window cleaners the world over are using Reach & Wash® systems to clean higher, faster and most importantly, safer!
Our systems conform to recognised industry standards such the European CE Mark. We’ve also invested heavily in making sure our systems are the safest available, and are the ONLY manufacturer to be awarded FMVSS-208 certification for our systems.
The Waterfed pole is the business end of the Reach & Wash® System. It’s the pole you work with hour after hour, day after day. For the most comfortable use, the pole should be as light, as thin and as rigid as possible. For ease of use, it should also be as short as possible when collapsed.
On-site systems are designed for situations when there is access to a water supply, a power supply or both. Sometimes, the nature of a site means that access to water and power is not a problem, and water can be purified for cleaning as and when it is needed. Our on-site solutions cater for these situations, and include systems that run with or without mains power.
Vehicle-mounted systems incorporate water-treatment filters and a large water tank so that a supply of pure water is always available, wherever a window cleaner needs to go. Without the need for an external water or power supply, vehicle-mounted systems are the most flexible and practical solution to many high-level cleaning situations.
Static systems are useful where a supply of pure-water for cleaning is required for a particular site. They can also be used as an efficient and economical way to supply several vehicle-mounted systems for larger window cleaning operations. Many static systems have the capacity to store 1,000 litres, 3,000 litres, 10,000 litres or even more.
