RIGGERS COURSE PART 2 (4 days)
Designed for students who have successfully completed the Rigging part one course and Working at Height Technician course and wish to move onto the next level of rigging training.

- Plan and calculate the load and equipment requirements for a rigging task.
- Mechanical advantage.
- Advanced rigging techniques, calculating load and load distribution.
- Pulleys and force calculation
- Rope rescue for fall arrest.
- Load distribution on a fly bar and counterweight system.
Practical
- Calculating load using load cells
- Rigging accessories
- Pulley systems and force calculations
- Rigging to structural elements
- Electronic chain hoists, safety, limits, plugging up and practical use.
- Electronic chain hoist control, plugging up and practical use.
- Electronic winches, safety, limits, reeving, and practical use.
- Winch diverter pulleys, safe use, and attaching to structures
- Advanced rigging techniques using bridles and multi leg clutch chains.
- Advanced rope rescue from fall arrest.
- Rigging onto a fly-bar and load distribution.
Assessment: written & practical
Course Duration: 4 days Revalidation period: This qualification lasts for 3 years.
